Satellite locations
One of our focus areas is reducing the environmental impact of scientific travel, particularly air travel to conferences. To support this goal, we have invested in a high-quality professional streaming setup, ensuring the festival can be fully accessed online. We invite national and international Green Labs networks or local Green Teams to join us by engaging their local communities in the transition towards sustainable science.
Become a Satellite Location
To maximize the reach and impact of the Green Science Festival, we invite you to host a local satellite location. As a satellite host, you would stream the festival live while creating opportunities for in-person networking and discussion within your own community.
If you are interested in hosting a local Green Labs event, please email us and we will provide you with all the necessary information. Satellite locations will be able to stream the festival live. We will ensure that all plenary sessions are broadcast. In addition, we encourage you to enrich the day by organizing parallel local activities, such as poster sessions, workshops, or talks by regional experts.
What Do You Need?
Hosting a satellite location is simple. You will need:
- A venue with a stable internet connection
- A large screen for streaming the event
- Communication channels to invite your local network
We also recommend providing drinks and snacks during breaks and at the end of the day to foster informal exchange and make the experience both educational and enjoyable.
