The countdown is on—just three weeks to go until the first Green Science Festival! While on-site tickets have sold out, you can still join us by registering for online participation.

This full-day event explores the transition toward more sustainable research and education. The program features short talks, panel discussions, and interactive workshops covering topics such as certification schemes, education, transition management, and perspectives from a range of disciplines. We welcome not only researchers and policymakers connected to universities and research institutes, but also funders, publishers, and others across the wider supply chain.

Throughout the day, you’ll gain a clearer understanding of where we stand today, what developments are taking place globally, and how we can work together to accelerate the shift toward sustainable science. With a professional camera crew on site, online participants can expect a high-quality experience.

In the lead-up to the festival, we’re also inviting contributions for our digital booklet, Seeds for Change: Sustainable Research in Action. Share your project with us—whether it’s data, a case study, a collaboration, or another initiative—and help showcase inspiring work from across the community.

We are looking forward to seeing you in Amsterdam or online on May 28!
